OSF St. Joseph Medical Center Auxiliary
The purpose of the Auxiliary is to serve
OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, its patients and the community, and to
assist OSF St. Joseph in promoting the health and welfare of the
community. The Auxiliary, with over 225 members, accomplishes this
through public relations activities --- creating understanding and
goodwill for the medical center --- and through our fundraising, which
supports the medical center’s healthcare programs and services. The OSF
St. Joseph Medical Center Auxiliary has contributed over two million
dollars since its founding in 1950. It has several annual fundraising
events, such as the Gift Shop, the Crystal Ball, the “Let It Shine for
Cancer Care” Tree of Lights, bake sales and craft sales, the holiday
cookie sale, heart pillows for surgery patients, the Auxiliary Quilters
and annual $10 Auxiliary dues.
